INTERESTING OFF WEEK

The Giants sit alone on top of the division as the only unbeaten...can't believe the Cowgirls lost...watch out for the Skins...they are starting to get better...
It should be another win this sunday against Seattle, but I can't help but wonder if the Giants get bitten by the upset bug....

R.I.P DICK LYNCH

He is probably best known as the Giants radio analyst for thepast 40 years, but he was a pretty good player in his day. He was not the polished professional broadcaster some are, but he was a Giants man, a favorite of owner Wellington Mara...
His last game - Super Bowl 42...that says alot about the man, take care, Dick....

PLAX SUSPENDED...

The news is not good...Plaxico Burress has been suspended by the Giants for two weeks - he'll miss one game since the Giants are on the bye this week. According to Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com, He hasn't been around for meetings the last two days nor has he phoned. Coach Tom Coughlin said he met with him today and his excuses were unacceptable.
My thoughts - This may be the start of issues with #17...the G-men may come to regret their contract extension with him....

A WIN STILL COUNTS AS A WIN...

It's the type of game Ginatrs fans have come to expect over the years...predictions of a big win melt into a tough game and a close shave...Give props to Amani "It's Not A" Toomer - what a great catch to set up the win....and props to John Carney - although he's probably headed out the door since Lawrence Tynes should be ready for Seattle after the bye...

A week off....yeah!

ON THE ROAD AGAIN...

Another workman like win for Big Blue...a close game up until the fourth quarter when the defense got busy...
Love the description of the three RB's - Earth, Wind & Fire (one of my favorite 70's groups)...now we need to decide who's who...
A big chance to go 3-0 with Cincy this Sunday...your typical trap game with the bye coming the following week...

AN EASY WIN????

After watching the Rams performance against the Eagles, I can't help but think we are headed to 2-0...and if the Bengals continue to have offensive problems...3-0.

Not surprised K Jay Feely goes to the Jets...he knows how to kick in Giants Stadium...

Looking for more consistancy this week from offense...scoring in more than one quarter or half...

The Giants dominated the first half and the defense played very well. Would have liked to see more scoring from the offense, but a win is a win...and a division one at that. One down....

WHAT TIME IS IT? KICKOFF!!!!

Thursday is here...the night we've been waiting for...the kickoff of the season...the Giants looks to defend the title...YESSSS!!!!
Tonight's game will be a test to see where we stand...the Skins have a new coach (AGAIN!) and are banged up defensively...remember what happened last November? Time for some revenge....

GIANTS SIGN EX-EAGLE & KICKER

To shore up the defensive front line, the Giants sign ex-Eagle Jerome McDougle...nice move. He's had a decent camp in Philly...somewhat surprising Phily let him go. He's had all sorts of injury issues...but if he can stay healthly, it's a good move...

Kinda surprised John Carney is with the G-men - thought Josh Huston would be the kicker until Tynes is ready, but if Carney is still strong, this is a good pickup...a little birdie tells me Tynes' injury might be more serious than first thought...I'm guessing he's out until at least after the bye in week 4...

Looking at the schedule...I'm thinking 2-1 heading into the bye...Thursday's a toughie the next two are very winnable...
