TALK ABOUT THE BLING...

The Giant's magical year hits it's official end as the team gets their championship rings last night. It seems strange to do it now, but the end of minicamp is usally when team's give them out given the time it takes to have them made...now, it's time for reality...and the 2008 season...Training camp in less than 6 weeks...

8 MILLION FOR STRAHAN?

Reports in the newspaper today say Strahan was promised he's be taken care of by the team, and he wants $8 mill to come back this year. While I would love to see #92 back, I'm not sure the Giants want to break the bank...I still say he should head to retirement...

STRAHAN BACK?

It's not a definate yes, but Coach Tom Coughlin says he's been spotted working out at Giants Stadium. I am one of those who thinks he might want to hang them up after the Super Bowl win.

#21 - Kenny Philips...wonder how that will play this year? The Giants first round pick says it's a tribute to the late Sean Taylor, but some fans might not appreciate his taking Tiki's number. But then again, after the termoil of his last year, and winning the big game after he leaves, there might not be that big of an objection...

DRAFT/WHITE HOUSE

I like the first pick last weekend...fills a need and he can play. When you draft as low as the G-Men, you usually go after the best available athlete.

Good to see Jets fans moan and complain after their targets in the first round moved off the board one by one.

Gotta love when a championship team visits the White House...one of the perks of winning. But, I doubt the President would be caught dead in the jersey back in his home state.
